Gas Furnace

What is a Gas Furnace?

A gas furnace is one of the most common and efficient ways to heat a home. It works by burning natural gas or propane to create heat, which is then pushed through ductwork by a blower motor to warm every room in your house. Today’s modern furnaces are cleaner, quieter, and far more efficient than older models — with AFUE ratings up to 98%, meaning almost all the fuel is converted into usable heat.

Why Choose a gas furnace:

Fast, powerful heating – Heats your home quickly, even on the coldest nights

Lower operating costs – Natural gas is often cheaper than electricity in California

Energy-efficient options – Modern high-efficiency models save money over time

Long system lifespan – Many systems last 20-30 years with proper maintenance

Compatible with smart thermostats – Easily integrate with today’s tech for better control

Heat Pump System

What is a Heat Pump System?

One system for heating and cooling — all year long.

A heat pump is a highly efficient HVAC system that provides both heating and air conditioning in one unit. Instead of generating heat by burning fuel like a gas furnace, a heat pump works by transferring heat — extracting warmth from the air outside (even when it’s cold) and bringing it indoors. In the summer, it reverses to work just like a central air conditioner.

Why Choose a Heat Pump?

Heating + Cooling in One System – Simplify your home comfort with a single unit.

High Energy Efficiency – Uses less electricity than electric heaters. Utilizes Solar power to heat your home. Comes in Single Stage, Two Stage and the highly efficient Inverter Systems.

Perfect for California’s Mild Winters – Delivers reliable comfort without overworking.

Lower Utility Bills – Great SEER2 and HSPF2 ratings mean lower monthly costs.

Eligible for Rebates – Qualifies for local utility rebates and federal tax credits.

Eco-Friendly – All-electric and ideal for homes going green or going solar.

Mini Split Systems

What are Mini Split systems?

Custom comfort — no ductwork needed.

Mini split systems, come in Wall Mounted, Ceiling Mounted and Ducted designs. They are a sleek, efficient way to heat and cool individual rooms without the need for ductwork. They’re perfect for room additions, ADUs, garages, offices, or homes with hot and cold spots. Each indoor unit is independently controlled, so you can set the perfect temperature for every space.

Why Choose a Ductless Mini Split?

No Ductwork Needed – Ideal for homes without central HVAC or hard-to-reach spaces

Zoned Comfort – Heat or cool only the rooms you use

High Efficiency – Many systems exceed 20 SEER2 and qualify for rebates

Quiet Operation – Whisper-quiet indoors and outdoors

Sleek, Modern Design – Wall-mounted, ceiling cassette and individually ducted options

Heating + Cooling in One Unit – Works year-round, even in colder months

  • How often should I service my furnace or heating system?

You should schedule professional heating maintenance once a year, ideally in the fall before cold weather hits. Regular service keeps your system running safely, reduces energy costs, and helps prevent breakdowns. Our Technician will complete an extensive checklist to go over with you discuss if any service or repairs are needed.

  • How long does a gas furnace last?

Most gas furnaces last 15–20 years, depending on usage, maintenance, and installation quality. Efficiency of the system starts to decline after 10 years. Once the manufacturer warranty  has expired, repair of critical components and may not be worth it and we can discuss what new equipment could look like for you. We offer system evaluations to help you know when it’s time to repair or replace your heater.

  • What’s the difference between a heat pump and a furnace?

A furnace burns gas to produce heat, while a heat pump transfers heat from the outside air (even in cold weather). Heat pumps are more energy-efficient and provide both heating and cooling in one system — ideal for San Diego’s mild winters. Electrification has made heat pumps much more popular expecially for those with Solar power.

  • Why is my heater blowing cold air?

This could be caused by a dirty filter, pilot light issue, thermostat setting, or a more serious problem like a faulty ignition system or heat exchanger. We offer fast diagnostics to pinpoint the cause and get the heat back on quickly.

  • What is the best type of heating system for my home in San Diego County?

It depends on your home's layout, insulation, fuel availability, and budget. In most cases, gas furnaces or heat pumps are ideal for our climate. If you have solar power, a heat pump system may be cheaper for you to heat your home. We’ll help you choose the right system based on comfort, efficiency, and rebates.

  • Do you offer financing or rebates for heater replacement?

Yes! We offer financing options on new furnace and heat pump installations, with some options as good as 0% apr for 12 months. California does offer rebates as well as the Federal Ira tax credits. We'll walk you through everything.

  • How do I know if I need a new heater or just a repair?

If your heater is over 15 years old, needs frequent repairs, or isn’t heating your home how you would like it to, it might be time to replace it. We provide honest, no-pressure assessments and will always recommend what’s best for your comfort and budget.

  • Do you install smart thermostats with new heating systems?

Absolutely. We install Wi-Fi smart thermostats that give you precise control, scheduling, and energy savings — plus remote access from your phone or smart home system. We install Honeywell, Google Nests, Nuve and more.

  • How often should I replace my filter?

Your filter should be replaced every 3 to 6 months. It varies based on how often you run the system and how many filters you have. We have maintenance programs that can assist you with this.
