T & C Heat and Air has been helping San Diego County stay cool since 1996. We were founded by Craig Holzhauer and operated by the family since then. We have chosen to stay as a small mom and pop style business and serve you all as a family. Craig raised his sons and taught them the business as they all grew up. Through those years he taught them how to run a home service business with integrity, honesty and hard work. Doing the right thing was never an option, it was expected with every single job.
One of his son's, Doug Holzhauer, always had a nack for the trades, from hvac, electrical, cars and anything else involving tools and building. He became the son that decided to pursue the family business and eventually take it over in 2022.
In 2025 Doug decided to start his transformation of the company and turn his hard work and dreams into reality. Starting with changing the name to NextWave Heating and Air. Doug has taken the business to new heights as he develops the company to be the best hvac company in San Diego County. Consistently finding ways to improve the quality of service and installations of his teams. Keeping up to date with the latest technologies, trends, and advancements in the industry. The company continues to grow on a foundation of loyalty, trust, and fairness.
